The guys at Microsoft have started to release the final version of the March 2015 System Update to all Xbox One players.  The new system update brings several new features and bug fixes to the Xbox One like transparent titles, but the biggest new feature of the system update is undoubtedly the new screenshot feature.  I’ll let Major Nelson talk about that.

Dead Rising was probably one of the most unique zombie games to be released in quite some time. I’ve always described it as a cross between Grand Theft Auto and Left 4 Dead.  Now, it looks like Legendary Pictures is making a Dead Rising movie and that movie is coming to the Crackle service at the end of this month. If you would like a preview, take a look for yourselves at this awesome trailer.

Dead Rising: Watchtower is coming March 27th, 2015 exclusively on Crackle. The Crackle app can be downloaded on several different platforms including the PS4, Xbox One, iPhone, and Xbox 360.

Apple announced the final release date and price of the highly anticipated Apple Watch earlier today. Along with that announcement came the official release of the iOS update that is going to be needed for Apple customers to use the new Apple Watch with their iDevices, iOS 8.2.

iOS 8.2 is a massive system update which fixes many of iOS 8’s ongoing issues. It also enables support for the Apple Watch if you’re using a device like the iPhone 5 or newer.

If you’ve already installed the most recent system update for your device before today, iOS 8.2 weighs in at just a few hundred MB, final size depends on your device. It can be downloaded right now through iTunes and the iOS Software Update feature.

The Playstation 4 shipped with only a 500GB Hard Drive and let’s face it, a combination of required installations, DLC and a great selection of digital only releases will fill that drive up pretty quickly.  Thankfully, Sony allows Playstation 4 owners to upgrade their hardware with new and improved Hard Drives, as long as they meet the Playstation 4’s specifications.

But how do you change the drive?  Well, I would recommend checking out this website to read Sony’s official procedure on how to perform the upgrade.  But words are really just words, you’re going to need to perform actions and sometimes reading instructions isn’t enough.  That’s why you can find a detailed step-by-step How-To video which should help you through the process below.

You will need a recent version of the Playstation 4’s Software once you replace your drive.  You can find and download that software right here.

Classic PC gaming title Syndicate is being offered for free to all customers of EA’s Origin service. The cult classic is the newest title EA is offering through their Origin On the House promotional service, and because of that you can get it right now at no charge.

As with all Origin games offered through On the House, once it is purchased, you will never lose access to your game, even if EA resumes charging money for it.  You will need to download the Origin client installed on your PC and an Origin account to download and play the game. Both are free of charge.  Download it now, because there’s no telling for how long EA will be offering the game for free.

Site Video Updates and a Special Request March 2, 2015

Apologies for the lack of site videos recently, but there is a very good reason for it that I’ll get into later.  It’s no secret that my How-To Videos are some of the most popular videos I’ve produced for this website, and recently we’ve been planning to make more of them, but we just haven’t had the opportunity to do any more until now.  Maniac’s trusty Playstation 3 has started acting up on him, and instead of replacing it, he’s going to try to fix it by replacing its eight year old internal Hard Drive with something newer.  The Playstation 3 has excellent tools for backing up and restoring user data, and if you plan to replace your PS3’s Hard Drive, you’re going to want to know how to use them.

But why stop at upgrading a PS3’s Hard Drive?  Why not show how to replace a Playstation 4 Hard Drive as well?  It can be done with easily obtainable equipment, and we’re going to show you how very soon.
