Originally announced alongside the Xbox One, Quantum Break is looking to be Remedy’s magnum opus. Here’s a game that will take some of the greatest strengths Remedy learned from creating properties like Alan Wake and Max Payne and bringing them to a new generation. In the game, you meet a character who was caught up in a time experiment gone wrong. What you’re about to see is running entirely in real-time.
It’s going to be interesting to see how Remedy intends to merge the real-time gameplay engine with the live action components we saw in the announcement trailer!
Quantum Break is coming to Xbox One.

That’s not a man in a sheet, that’s the Master Chief, and I think he’s looking for something.
For the first time ever on a console, a Halo game is going to be in 60 Frames Per Second.
Halo is coming in 2014 exclusive to Xbox One.

Before the Xbox One was announced I made a video where I talked about several things I felt Microsoft should announce along with a new console. I felt Microsoft’s best chance to one-up Sony’s PS4 reveal was to show a wide spectrum of new games from classic properties using their original developers. One of the games I requested was a new game by Rare, and today Microsoft has delivered. Killer Instinct is coming to Xbox One, and it is bringing all the features of the Xbox One with it.
The game will feature 3D characters but fighting will keep to a 2D perspective. With a single voice command to your Kinect, Killer Instinct will allow instant game streaming to Twitch.TV. It will also support a classic arcade joystick, which will release day and date with the game.
Killer Instinct is coming this year exclusive to Xbox One.

E3 2013 Press Event Schedule June 10, 2013

While technically, the first day of E3 isn’t until tomorrow, today marks the start of the E3 press preview events. Five of the major publishers and console manufacturers will be announcing what they plan to show at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo today and tomorrow. The plan is to make their hugest announcements before E3 and give a small preview of what they plan to show. It is highly likely that the unreleased PS4 and Xbox One will make appearances, as well as a slew of games will be announced for each of the platforms.
So if you want to catch all of these events for yourselves, how can you do it? Sadly, unlike previous years, only two of these conferences will be televised in my area, so you may have to stream some of these events online. Don’t worry where to go, we’ve got you covered!
Monday:
Microsoft’s E3 Press Conference – Once again, Microsoft will be kicking off E3’s press events with a showing they promise will cover Xbox 360 games as well as an unveiling of games for their next console, Xbox One. This is going to be televised on the Spike TV Channel with their coverage starting at 12 noon EST. The preshow should kick off at 12:30 with the event at 1PM EST. Xbox 360 owners with Xbox Live accounts who don’t have access to the Spike TV channel can stream the event through Xbox Live’s Live Event Player app.
The Download: EA E3 2013 Preview – EA’s press event will air after Microsoft’s at 4PM EST. EA has already confirmed showings for Battlefield 4 and Need for Speed: Rivals will take place. Like Microsoft’s, it will also be televised on Spike TV so if you have access to a TV with digital cable or satellite, it will probably be the easiest bet to watch the show. They’re also going to be streaming the event through their new dedicated E3 webpage here.
UbiSoft’s E3 Media Briefing – Publisher UbiSoft plans to kick off their E3 Press Event at 5:40PM EST. UbiSoft’s Press Conference will not be televised but UbiSoft is planning to stream their press event on YouTube and through Uplay. UbiSoft announced they’re going to stream an exclusive preshow and postshow event for anyone who plans to stream the event through Uplay. If you plan to watch the event through Uplay you can watch it through either the official Uplay website or the Uplay mobile app. You can check out the event and view all the details here.
Playstation E3 Press Conference – Sony’s conference will be the final event on Monday, and will start at 8:30PM EST. They have already confirmed the PS4 will be shown, as well as several PS3, Vita and PS4 games including the new inFAMOUS game, Gran Turismo 6, and BEYOND: Two Souls. This event will not be televised, but Sony has set up a wide arrangement of streaming feeds of the event including YouTube, Playstation Home, and Ustream. You can view the details on the event and watch it if you wish here.
Tuesday:
Nintendo’s E3 Press Conference – On Tuesday, Nintendo will host the final E3 press event at 10AM EST Tuesday, just before the first day of the E3 show begins. Nintendo has previously announced that they plan to show several never before seen games for the Wii U, including a 3D Mario game made by the Super Mario Galaxy developers, a new Mario Kart game, and much more. The event will start with a new Nintendo Direct which will give the details on a special promotion they’re doing on Wednesday, where you will be able to try the demos for the games they are showing at E3 at Best Buy stores across the country, and then follow up with the conference. You can view all the details on Nintendo’s official E3 website.
This is going to be a great two days, as each of the publishers have promised a slew of new game announcements and previews including Destiny, BEYOND: Two Souls, Quantum Break, inFAMOUS: Second Son, and Gran Turismo 6. This is the biggest gaming event of the year where two major console announcements are taking place. Seriously, less than half of these events are going to be shown on TV? I never thought I would say this again but suddenly, I miss G4.
