So What Happened is back by popular demand!

As the new Alan Wake game came on track to be released, traffic for the So What Happened video I made about Alan Wake (which you can watch here) increased tremendously, and with the ability to post longer videos up having been returned to me, making a new video about the newest Alan Wake game, Alan Wake’s American Nightmare, seemed like the perfect decision.

This latest site video is about the backstory and plot of Alan Wake’s American Nightmare.  Why is Alan Wake in Night Springs, Arizona for one night?  Who is Mr. Scratch, this evil doppelganger who was created when Alan first entered the Dark Place?  Finally, just what happens to Alan at the very end?

Be warned, there will be HEAVY SPOILERS to the Alan Wake games included in this video.  Enjoy!

Alan Wake’s American Nightmare is out now exclusive to the Xbox 360.  It is 1200 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live Arcade.

Sony has released this interview they did with David Cage from Quantic Dream, where he talks about the KARA demo he showed at this year’s GDC which has gotten a tremendous response.  The interview features a ton of behind the scenes information about the growth of Quantic Dream since the release of Heavy Rain (their previous game) and what they’re hoping to achieve with this technology.

If you want to hear about my experiences with Quantic Dream, feel free to check out my latest Mind of Maniac.

If you’re not a Playstation Plus subscriber, Journey, the third Playstation 3 game by thatgamecompany, will launch today for purchase and download on the Playstation Store.

Journey expands on thatgamecompany’s philosophy of game design and has its player searching through a desert with the goal to reach a mountain in the distance.  Along the way you solve puzzles and may be assisted by an anonymous second player brought in through the Playstation Network.

As this is the third game from thatgamecompany for the Playstation 3, previous games that they’ve made are still available including FlOw and my personal favorite Playstation Network exclusive game, Flower.

As I said before, you can already buy the game if you’re a Playstation Plus user, if you’re not the game is available for preorder up to the moment it launches.  Journey is $14.99 US and exclusive to the PS3.
