Xbox 360 Hard Drives Close Up February 17, 2012

With a lot of the comments I’ve been getting in my previous How-To videos revolving around people having issues with fraudlent Xbox 360 drives I wanted to help people out by showing what actual Xbox 360 drives look like for both the original model and new slims, and what to look for when buying a new drive.

Please note, buying drives that aren’t made by Microsoft is not a wise move.  Since starting my how-to series I’ve been troubleshooting for many people having a wide range of problems with non-microsoft drives, ranging from the drives not being detected at all by the Xbox 360 to errors and the inability to play backwards compatible Xbox 1 games like Halo 2.
